From a meeting at the Stella Natura festival (RIP), two years ago, this split was born. It wasn't an improbable one, though. Both bands have much in common. Their music speak of forests, fairy tales, and the damage of man to nature (This Is My Home by Novemthree and Unha Ofrenta de Osos by Sangre de Muerdago, both present in this album). These are soothing songs, both for children and adults. All this is wrapped in folk, common to both bands, but with individual differences. Novemthree have a more dreamy approach to their folk, while Sangre de Muerdago have a more folkloric sound, without entering the cheesy sound that is normally called folk these days. |
